Blindfold drawings.
Describe in detail how it felt and how you coped with drawing while blindfolded.
Here are some questions to inform your writing...you should not just answer these questions in a list as they appear below. Read them. Think about them. Then put them away and just write...
When you heard the directions what thoughts went through your head?
How did the blindfold help or hinder your ability to picture a place?
How did you start to translate your thoughts into marks on the page?
How did the act of drawing blindfolded change if at all as time went on?
How do you feel about the outcome?
How is the resulting drawing similar or different to drawings you have made in the past?

I knew that this was going to be very tough because normally I am not the best artist but with a blindfold my art was going to look...very different. My first emotion was happy I thought this is very cool. I have never done anything like this before. Once the blindfold was on my head I lost some confidence. I knew exactly what I was going to draw but how was the question. When the time begun I put my pencil to the paper drew a square lifted my pencil up then was feeling very stupid. i knew that I couldent lift my pencil up. I lost my place. I then tried to finish the dock I was trying to recreate. In my mind I tought it might look something like I was picturing. Once I took the blindfold off i relized how difficult it was. The dock I had tryed drawing was a disaster. The images were ant size on this large ocean size paper. I loved looking at what I had drawn. I knew it wasnt going to be very god so I wasnt disapointed at all. I liked it and would gladly share this with some people. Along with feeling like I had been drawing for an hour It was an interesting feeling just drawing not knowing where you are.
